11:00 a.m. | Freedom Fest Motorcycle Rally
Enjoy refreshments and camaraderie as motorcyclists begin to gather outside the Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex at UW-L.
12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. | Freedom Fest Motorcycle Ride
Join fellow cyclists as they take a ride through the rolling Coulee Region countryside in honor of our nation’s Veterans, Service members and Fallen Heroes. Freedom Fest ticket required. Map of route coming - please check back in May.
4:00 p.m. | Gates and Veterans Hall of Honor Open
Arrive early to secure your seat. Access is available for all seating sections and food and beverage areas inside the Stadium and VIP Hospitality Tent. Commemorative programs for the 7th annual fest will be available at all entrances. Be sure to stop in the Hall of Honor and check updates on the Veteran database.
4:30 p.m. | Opening Ceremony
A Joint Forces Color Guard and National Anthem performance set the stage for the evening’s activities.
5:00 p.m. | The Remainders
The Remainders, a Coulee Region favorite and Freedom Fest mainstay, features lead vocalist and rhythm guitar player Andy Temte, CEO of Kaplan Professional, and fellow band members all hailing from the La Crosse area. The band gives their all as they entertain the crowd with their rendition of popular hits from the 70’s and 80’s.
7:00 p.m. | Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band
Welcome back the band that played for the very first Freedom Fest in 2008. Gary
Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band will serenade the crowd with all music genres from the classics to contemporary, rock to country, and even tunes from the 40’s big band era. Their music offers something for everyone!
8:30 p.m. | Presentation of the “Fallen Heroes”
Join Don Weber, CEO of LHI and Founder of Freedom Fest, as he leads a tribute to the fallen Wisconsin Veterans. This moving program silences the packed stadium as the faces of these brave men and women remind us of the true reason behind Freedom Fest – our nation’s heroes. Food and beverage services suspended during the Fallen Heroes video.
9:30 p.m. | Huey Lewis and the News
“They say the heart of rock and roll is still beating” and Huey Lewis and the News will be on stage to prove it! With over 30 years of hits you won’t want to miss the performance as they play songs from their unique collection of music such as Heart and Soul, If This is It, and I Want A New Drug.
11:00 p.m. | Fireworks
The evening concludes with a fireworks show by the La Crosse Skyrockers.
Rules and Regulations
No coolers, outside food or beverages may be brought into the fest. No smoking is allowed inside the gates. There are designated smoking areas outside the main gates.
Tickets are non-refundable. There will be no refunds if the performance is cancelled due to "Force Majeure" or any other reason contemplated in the agreements with the performing artists.
